Bi-weekly Counter-Culture EncouragementVictoria Julieann ~ ~ ~ I just wanted to share some encouragement straight from God's Word here today; Psalm 3 (KJV) Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. 3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. 7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. 8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. I really love verse these verses. It's...it's like a creed. A battle cry that says, I will not fear even the hosts of the lowest hell because the God of the universe is on my side. He is my God. He is my Lord. So whom shall I fear? If you are saved, you belong to the Almighty King of the Universe. He has saved you, made you new and called you His child. You are safe in His arms. You don't have to fear, for the God of angel armies is by your side. If you do not know the Lord, and would like to be saved, it's as simple as ABC. A (Romans 3:23): Accept that you are a sinner and are in need of a Savior. B (Romans 10:9-10, Romans 5:8): Believe in your heart that God sent His only Son to earth, to die on a cross and to rise again three days later. C (Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13): Confess that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved. He doesn't ask that you work for salvation, just admit, believe, and receive. No matter what you've done.
